Appleseed (read the comic, it's way better) -- terrible
City Hunter -- ok
Master of Mosquiton -- not seen
Serial Experiments: Lain -- underrated classic
NightWarriors -- not seen
Ghost in the Shell -- vastly over-rated. Looks nice tho
Love Hina -- different I guess
Cowboy Bebop -- sunrise does it again
Trigun -- starts crap, gets better. File under 'outlaw star'
Nazca -- good
Bounty Dog -- not seen
Armitage -- mmm
Vampire Hunter D -- pathetic
Tenchi -- bleh
Akira (I hate this movie) -- still awesome
Wicked City -- first anime I ever saw not aged well

I'd sugggest Macross Plus, Escaflowne, Bebop, Gasakari & Outlaw Star as a good intro to anime. Bebop's converted some anime haters I worked with into born again fanboys

Guy Ninja Scroll is not crap. Granted it's not a breakthrough film, but it still is a great straight forward anime. Not every movie or series has to be that deep, they just have to be memorable in some way. It's also better than some of the crap Manga Video has been pushing lately. Blood: The Last Vampire anyone?

P.S. I was going to make the statement that Evangelion is for sissies, but since I have Love Hina in my list I will refrain.

i know less than nothing about anime, but i'm pretty sure all of cowboy bebop can be downloaded using kazaa or xolox. not DVD quality, but it could save you some money.

The film Akira was the only anime I've seen that I thought was really cool, it's just fun as hell to watch.

I saw this one called "Princess Monocoke" or sumthing on tv when i had a bad fever and was rather ill. I don't recomend this movie to people who are sick, for some reason...when the whole movie went to the forest and all this magic ****.....it really frugged up my head....for the next three days all i saw were freaking plants growing out of the walls and these strange..white midget things running around my house, jumping on my furniture.

But i saw the movie again when I was recovered, not a bad movie, some cool stuff in there with all the arrow shot head severing.....but Akira still ownz it.

And what the F*U*C*K is up with this Dragon Ball Z bull crap?

"Oh man! Goku's gone super Sain!"........wtf...
