What about someone make a JB-Citadel? That'd get played more than any other map! Except the original, but whatever. If anyone has an idea for a good JB conversion, I could look into whatever's necessary to make one. I'm not all that great with making new stuff that's good, let alone finishing anything I start, so that's pretty much out of the question. ;)

Yep, and the fragBUS are always full. Besides, we play jouse, and i dont *think*
it was meant for 16 either.

Well, when we play Joust, it's usually for a goof. It's funny like one time a month but it too gets old.

It just seems to me that a gametype, like Jailbreak, that punishes you for dying by making you spectate - isn't exactly the ideal gametype for overcrowded maps.

I don't really like playing overcrowded maps anyway, but that's my personal opinion.

HUGE fun guys. Best ONS game I've played in awhile. (I don't mean my score, either. ;) ).
Back and forth the whole game, went into OT, back and forth again....
Cores were like 27-1 when it ended...
Very fun! What FragBU is all about, imo.

It was nice getting back in time to attend jan 7 to jan 8 fragBU. I ended up not sleeping between the two, which might explain my behaviour. Lots of fun. btw wasn't hyru or someone going to post that hilarious Gael game. I demoed it anyway but it would be nice to see it from the start. I joined late and hadn't a clue to how something like that could have been started. GGs everyone. We should have a big game of shock ball pass next time;)

3... 2... 1...
spawn

Out of the corner of my screen I saw someone, my guess is Haarg, instantly dive into the pit.
That's really all it took. :p

No one said anything when the map was picked (other than "good choice", can't remember who) or durring the countdown but everyone knew what was going on before the spawn protection had even worn off.

The demo is 18 MB when compressed with 7Zip, which is much too big to host off my home DSL line (which is capped at 256 kbits/sec upload, much too slow). So if someone can host it somewhere more reasonable or someone wants it to turn it into a short video (maybe with music, someone mentioned in-game), including the interesting moments (once saw two people fighting on the center square, and later saw one person running laps around the pit), I can send it to you. (During the last minute of the round, I tried to get a demo from inside the pit looking up, but never ended up getting a good vantage point. Next time we do this I'll remember to get more angles, including from the sides and in the pit.)

The mapvote choices in the previous round were:
DM-Gael (Mutant)
DM-Gael (DM
DM-Gael (TDM)
DM-Gael (Invasion)

But I knew that unless it was invasion, I was goin into that pit right away! I'd hit it!

Off course
Ehm...since there is no thread on this week's fragBU, I'll post my rapport over here instead. First up...GG's to all. I'm glad to report that the mood is still the same, the games are usually fun and teams are still unbalanced because everyone is aliassing, typing, spectarding or simply goofing around.
(hey, wait...that last thing isn't good. just ignore that)

2nd: the quotes:

(Raffi wants us to 'hop on' the server)
Capt.Toilet: Raffi wants you to hop on him :)
Hyrulian: hot se<censored in order not to shock minor BU thread readers>

(at the beginning of saturdays FragBU, the server got invaded by Gen Mo'kai players)
[mAp]BoboThePenguin: its gencon

And a couple pictures to publicize our little FFA events somewhat more:
-Beware: raptor dogfight over ons-pipeline
-A simple tip to survive invasion waves in DM-plunge: Camping!!!
-I really wonder how red team could work together with a team with names like these
-even when the hellbender is shot in AS-Junkyard, it is able to get transported by the magnet
