And here i was thinking this thread was about the new AvP2 movie, with perhaps some sort of hint s to if it's actually any good. Then i saw it was about the game and thought someone was just posting about it cus they dragged it off the shelf and started playing it again... then i saw the date and though, that figures!

Well, I saw the movie and thought it was not as good as the first one - and the first one wasn't really that good to begin with, though I liked it somehow a bit. If you have nothing better to do and/or can get the movie for free I'd say take the risk and watch it..
When will they finally learn that AvP should contain Colonial Marines? I don't know the comics, but the Marines in the two games sure fit the theme better than some expedition or poor present day soldiers - A M41A1 just IS so much more effective against Aliens than a M4A1..

Agreed! When i first heard of the AvP movies i figured that they'd be like the books or the comics (which are written to the line sof the books), and so i was very dissapointed to see they were modern day set. Parhaps they just didn't want to make another Aliens with just another species added in there to crowd things even more. But i'd like that.
Next i got to say im waiting for a Battletech or Mechwarrior movie.They've got the books, the boardgame, the action figures, the models, and the cartoon series, I WANT MY MOVIE!
