Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I downloaded the patch, but I don't know how to get it to work.
The readme file says:
1. Put AVP2L(alienfix).rez in main dir.
2. On the launcher box, go to options.
3. In the command line type:
-rez AVP2L(alienfix).rez
4. Play game.
What's the "launcher box"?? How do I find it?

launch box is the start thing, the options screen before youre in the game, there you have a command line space, where you can put aditional command lines, same place where you can choose for wich resolution and bit depth, and other stuff like use hardware cursor

Hmm it just launches the game without an options screen. Maybe I don't get the launch box because I'm only playing a demo. I guess I'll have to get the full version somewhere.
avp2 in ultiplayer totaly ownz! I played it and its fun. though a few maps suck from my point of view but these maps have to fit 3 different races...
playing online is fun but iam having lots of trouble to play online since most servers are lame and or having the additiobnal mappackwhich is imposiible to download...

The patch was only about 3megs.
Just started the Alien single player. I'm up to where you burst out of the sleeping marine and jump through the window.
Not quite sure what to do now. I keep getting seen by all the marines.
Multiplayer is fantastic.
I played an Alien Runner while my m8 played a Predator and a marine. I minced him both times.
Are there any maps that are bright, outdoor and walls that are straight?

I tried to make my own map but it's too confuzzling.
Still dont know how to get past the marines as the little snake alien thing.

stealth. the trick is to wait till the first two or three bugger off then sneak past the remaining one at the first corner.
if you get past there unoticed you prolly will make it. but uicksave a lot too..

Yep I DL a map editor it comes with some other stuff aswell.
BTW I DL some skins but you can only put one .rez thing in the command prompt.
How do you use multiple rez files?
