Is it safe to say we're not going for a pretty and decorative frame-eater? It would be better to do the geometry and the required lighting and be done with it.
Non-practice work nights I usually don't get up until 8:20 (or later, depending on how the day went).
I'm not a big fan of eyecandy, so I would think that the map would be kinda basic, nothing special... mainly because we'd be focusing on more important things.
The main focus could be movement, but I wouldn't mind having some sections that require one to dodge and fire at something to progress to the next area... say; dodging over a gap in a bridge and firing into a recessed section of wall with a trigger to open the door, giving you a certain amount of time to get to the exit, or go back and do it over.
