I played with TWT Zombies on Frozen with bots ...
Quite scary when you enter the complex/tunnel
And it was fun to see the bots from both teams shooting at the zombies
that was really gore especially with the minimi

That is wierd.

Try to activate only this TWT_Zombies! mutator and see if you see them.
Maybe on some huge maps , they will spawn in a place you never go to, that is why you dont see them.

Or maybe they spawn after a minute or two in some maps, i didnt tested it on more than Iraq .

I found it to be rather dull, as the zombies are very slow, and if I run out ammo, I can pretty easily knife them. Are there some settings that I can change to make them more challanging/scary?

Err demo, you have to survive for like 20 minutes IIRC. I always end up with the knife sooner or later. It was stupid with 2.86. But now we have EAS it just might be fun... you have a time limit so you can't just knife them all. So you have to pick your shots.

But perhaps it would indeed work better if they would be more bullet proof, and if it would be pistols only and then almost no ammo.

I take shottie only in, and that means constan, long reloads. Only thing is, that's not a problem because it takes them a minute to close a 3 meter gap. I happily held on at mostar without breaking a sweat.

I only tried it in 2.86 in Siberia... I had some problems there after a while with my '1337' mp5 loadout with 3 mags and 2 nades

you should try the more CQB type "closed" maps. Attemtping to complete the objective AND survive in Complex_B is no easy feat (alone of course)

I've tried everything I can think of, but the mutator still doesn't work. I guess all I can do now is sit and watch this zombie simulation:

Downloaded it... Loved it... Good stuff.

Zombies + SOCOM = hours of fun.

I wonder if this could be the base for a BHD mutie that people keep asking for? Instead of a never ending stream of zombies, make a never ending stream of skinnies with AKs and bad aim? Just a thought...

Try downloading the one from fileplanet, it worked for me. Or take a look at the .ini file (the one for the zombies) maybe it´s configured to spawn few or even no zombies....
