Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

well, its a BT term for "our little switch box at our end which clicks on and off every certain amount of mircoseconds, low would be ideal for voice calls, high would be ideal for data"
and i say " why would it be better? wouldn't it need to be clickin fast if the voice was clear? yet you can't have one or the other"

Try playing really late at night, your pings and pl will be much better then. Lines are less busy, ISP is less busy etc. My ISP isnt *suberb* (I can get better on pay by min ISP's), but its fairly steady, and its nice flat rate
I was pleasantly surprised by how much my scoring improved just because of my new comp being so much faster. I still ping at about 250 to the best server (Saskatchewan is a long ways from everywhere, eh ). The move from that athlon 550 to the althon1.33 means about a 20% increase in a typical score for me.

this whole low ping thing is overated. I'm pinging 50-100 avg...150 is my max so far and let me tell you I'm playing worse the ever. I keep missing shots. I think I'm going back to my modem. Atleast with the lag my shots which are off target end up hitting it because of lag.
