Betrayal Video Guide

In case you've yet to figure out the mysterious Betrayal gametype bundled in the recently released Titan Pack, Bersy has put together a video guide to Betrayal. This is the second in his series of tutorials, the first highlighting Greed.

What's this "insta jib" this guy's talking about? I thought betrayal was played with insta GIB rifles? Does this guy seriously talk about Jibbing people?

I think this video does a great job of explaining the gametype, since it's not that easy to figure out what the colors mean while playing. Much appreciated!

Whenever this comes up I'm never sure if it's trolling (bad) or just ignorance (not bad).
Hoping it's the latter...
Gib is pronounced jib, since it's short for giblet, which is pronounced jiblet.

Learn to speak correctly? He has a perfectly comprehend able voice. I can tell he has a Canadian accent though.

I'd like to see you do better.

Numb is correct, I was born in Canada.

and as far as the whole "gib" vs "jib" thing I always preferred GIB myself but I pronounced it the way that is commonly accepted and not to mention logical since I've never heard the word "giblet" pronounced with a hard G sound..

I've always pronounced it as gib but the UT2004 announcer says Jib. So I think that settles it.

what about a soft 'silent' g ? (as in 'go')
if it is supposed to be 'jiblets' then it is rather unlogical to spell it as giblets, is it not ? (not as if that ever mattered though)

One really has to wonder why tutorials like this one aren't part of the game.
Plain text is great, show&tell is better ...
Altough a real interactive tutorial would have been awesome.

Nice way of putting it: Betrayal is a game where intsagib can finally exist as it's own unique gametype. I hadn't looked at it that way before. For some reason it makes me appreciate the gametype a bit more and lessens my annoyance at the fact that you have to use insta to play. Instagib finally has it's place! ;D

I've never heard anyone talk about turkey and jiblets. I've never, ever heard anyone make the J sound for that word in my life, until today. Regardless of how it's "supposed" to be pronounced, it feels so unnatural when I say it your way.

in all fairness, in case it sounds like i'm downing the whole video just because I dont like how one word is said, I'm not. The content of the video is solid and it really helps make the gametype easier to understand.
