Sixteen new screenshots from Eidos of Batman: Arkham Asylum. As we first reported this title is being developed using Unreal Engine 3 by Rocksteady Studios and is planned for an '09 release. Behold... the Batman.

Oh wow is that Killer Croc I see in one of those pics?? I havent played a Batman game since The Adventures of Batman and Robin on the SNES, but this one might change that.

i'm not too much into games made from comics but i'm curious about this one. not only are the graphics awesome but some of these shots are really atmospheric. i guess i'll keep an eye on this.

at the end of the sentence), but that is just mean to all those waiting for the game. I'm not waiting since I don't own any next gen console (nor any console from the previous generation) and the PC version is officially not coming.

Those look like they're using the new lighting tech they first showed for Gears 2 characters. Those renders look just awesome.

It's breathtaking, and not just because of the updated UE3. If the gameplay is as good as the visuals, I am sold (even though I'm not much of a batman lover).
