COD: MW2 Thread

And the beauty of that is no VAC ban. IW are a bunch of ignoramuses and they brought this on themselves. Their first mistake was getting cocky with IWnet and how it was going to be cheat free. That right there is an open invitation for hackers to prove them wrong, which they did.

Second choosing VAC really wasn't the best idea. Yeah its pretty bad, but MW2 is coded so poorly it can easily be bypassed.

It didn't work anyway, all it did was tossing me the default equipment. (M4 / USP .45) :p
But from the menu it clearly worked.

Wow, seriously did the lack of comp take a nose dive? even cod4 players had better scores then that. I have barely touched this game.

The air support f**ks everyone up way, way harder than CoD4. And yet most people are too damn dumb to run kits with stingers. So, whoever gets the first harrier/pave low/chopper gun usually wins and by a lot.

I have class dedicated to taking out air support. I love using it. Still can't take out AC130s on my own, though, because those take three stingers due to flares throwing the first two off. By the time I've shot two and gotten myself killed the thing is gone anyway.

I'd say it's 50/50 for when I play. Half the time people will instantly switch to their air support class the second they hear an air killstreak go up and the other half is lulz.

I'd say it's definitively you. I have times where I feel like dropping the ACR for either the AK-47 or SCAR-H. I mostly go with SCAR-H as it's a true pain maker with SP and FMJ.

Yeah the AC 130 is the only air support you shouldn't bother with, It comes by, hits a few taget and jet off then. It's nothing compared to say, a CG which can be a true pain in the butt in maps like Rundown, I usually get 20+ kills with a single CG to the point of literally pissing off everyone in the game. All thanks to the air-exposed respawns. TBFH if a CG is heading in and it's red (and the team in which I'm in seems vulnerable), I GTFO/RQ. So I can't blame them, at all.

It was my fav weapon in CoD4, yes. The ACR has been my MW2 favorite for a damn while now. I got into the SCAR-H lately and I find myself using it more. Otherwise I just poop with the G18 akimbo for point whoring. :)

I never played CoD4 with you, but I remember when you unlocked the AK in MW2 you got into it for a while. ;)

Speaking of which, I was gonna install CoD4 just now but I can't find the ****in disk! :(

Screw physical copies and those type of people, I wish I had it on Steam! :mad:

I got into COD4 a few weeks back and I couldn't help myself but close it and start MW2. HOWEVER, the introduction feel of COD4 was FAR better (dedicated servers, actual PC polishing, ETC). I'm just implying that MW2 right now as I type this is much more enjoyable than MW1.

Orly. I reinstalled MW2 yesterday and tried it, was fun, but I don't remember the feeling of CoD4 so I wanted to try that. I thought I might enjoy it more, but some CoD4 maps were ported to MW2 or something right?

Freeze Tag

In Freeze Tag two teams fight each other to completely freeze the other team. The difference between Freeze Tag and Team Deathmatch is that in Freeze Tag players will be frozen when killed and their teammates need to unfreeze them to come back into the game. If a team successfully freezes all the players on the other side then the team wins the round. To unfreeze players their teammates will need to get close to them or point to them and press the USE key to give them health again (body temperature). Once the player reaches the maximum health he/she will be unfrozen.


Cod4 Lost Tombs of Ra

We also have a remake of the popular unreal tournament map for our cod4 freeze tag server. The map is on ECS server 2 for testing. IP: 74.63.54.119:28960
