I click faster than I scroll, and I still think the FAL sucks. :) Unless of course, I hold the mouse with one hand and roll my entire palm over the wheel with the other hand. But regardless, the FAL loses way too much power at range. Otherwise, it'd could be decent.

Whaaaaat?
The FAL is a 55-35 gun (35 dmg outside of effective range), which translates to a 3 hit kill in core, and a 1 hit kill in HC. Notably, there's a nice glitch with the FAL: the Holo sight changes the minimum damage to 40. While that's not significant in and of itself, with Stopping Power and the Holo sight, it becomes a death laser which delivers 2 hit death at any range to any body part.

Also, the FAMAS and M16 are OHKs with stopping power (well, one burst).

Edit: I've also become exceedingly fond of the AUG HBAR this prestige. I hadn't used it at all before, and I'm around 60ish on this prestige and I've got ~650 kills this time around.

Meh. Poor acting. :)

SCAR-H is pretty freakin good, and it's early. I don't know for glocks, but that might be early too.

From what I played in SP, the scar is just an m4 with lower ROF, so...meh. The m4 aimpoint still kicked ass way too hard.

UMP 45 WOOOOOOOOOOWOOOOWOOWOW with ''double tap' stopping power' (Y)

And Steady Aim nonsense CS:S-like players use, god I hate those tards. :)

Rapid Fire isn't needed, it works best with the Vector.

Unconventional, but good: Vector + any of the following: FMJ, Silencer, Holographic
Perk 1: Scavenger
Perk 2: Stopping Power
Perk 3: Ninja (Preferably Pro)
Secondary Weapon: Preferably AA-12

D: I didn't know that, thanks for the infoz. I haven't been as detail in my search for info on mw2 compared to how I was with cod4.

Until someone stopping powers you :}

Exactly. :) Who wants to try and shoot people across Derail or Wasteland when it takes 3+ hits if you can practically just point and click with the FAMAS/SCAR. Plus, you need to shoot fairly slow to control the recoil at that kind of range.

However I agree the AUG is teh win. I use it all the time... shortest reload and does more damage on air support than any other LMG. Slap the Grip attachment on it and you basically got a near-recoil-less automatic sniper rifle. The only LMG stronger on human targets is the L86, and they made it a lot harder to aim for that reason.

MW2 Weapon Info begs to differ. Three of the LMGs are high power (L86, RPD, AUG), and 2 are low power (MG4, M240). Major difference between the high damage LMGs, as far as I can tell, is ROF and/or recoil. Also, the L86 & AUG have the lowest reload times, as they aren't belt-fed, so that counts in their favor. Personally, I just love the irons on the AUG (even more than the RPD!).

For what it's worth, the L86 gets a SUSAT scope, instead of an ACOG scope, so I guess there's that.

You can do that with pretty much all assault rifles...

if i mention the F2000 would you care to review your statement

I hated mastering the F2000 it really does bounce like a bunny on crack and is more suited for firing from the hip spamming the crap out of your target.

Sure single or double shots worked wonders if your aiming for the head but getting 40 FMJ pen kills was an absolute mission

I just got it on PS3 and have been playing it. Very satisfied so far with the online so far (although I would hate it on a PC because of no dedicated servers) and the single player is fantastic.

From what I have read he is no longer at IW. Wonder if he didn't like the direction MW2 was going and jumped ship. I wouldn't doubt it myself, as he sounds like he knows what makes a pc game good.

The way he's talking and his body language in that video suggests that he had canned responses that someone else had prepared. I really doubt a studio head would "jump ship" just because he didn't like the direction the PC game was going.

I would wager IW had signed a contract with Activision that they had to make more Call of Duty games (or something similar to that) and he just got tired of working on them, and quit. He probably regrets it now seeing the sales figures for MW2. :p
