Essential Maps

I have found the maps I were looking for, I had them on one of my external drives. I don't see how you can download them thou. Perhaps I should upload them somewhere. Where should I put them?

I downloaded that Warfare mappack but they don't seem that high grade. Some of the map I already have on my list should not be there either, I'll go over all of them again some day.

Is this thread useful? Do you like it? Should I organize it more or can you find what you are looking for easy enough?

I see now that it's in fact a huge undertaking to collect every map ever released for UT3 and rank it. Half a year after UT3 hit the market some very good maps surfaced and now they are quite many. Is there any need for full coverage of it all?

This is a great thread. I think rating and ranking is too time consuming for anyone to do. You would not have time to actually play the game for fun.

Maybe just edit your first post to add all the links posted afterwards. Kind of like an index. I would just keep a seperate text file with all the links. Then when a new one is found just add it and then copy and paste the updated file into the edit window.

Lots of maps to find, I mainly browse through Epic's forum and pick from the top selection with the highest rated threads.

I mostly play deathmatch, so the rest will suffer. I can add maps for good looks, but real gameplay quality in team games is not one of my stronger suits.

Awesome thread! A few questions though...Is that new version of Rankin (the "ex" one) out yet? That looks SICK! Another question...is there a remake of Severance from UT2004 and if so what is it called?

WAR-Sentinels --> ONS-Severence

There are both axon and necris versions of this map. I really like the necris version of WAR-Sentinels. It's necris, both sides, and like Serenity it's balanced. We played this during the Halloween WARfare party in Oct and it's lots of fun with lots of peeps.
