  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. Is Rooster on cruise control or something? He hasn't had to lock many threads for a while. Let's see: in the last 30 days, Rooster has had to lock...

1...2...3...4...5...6...7 (one of his own posts :))...8...9...10...11...12...13...14...15...16...17...18...19...20...21...22...23...24...25...26...27...28...29...30 (a couple more of his own posts :))...31...32...33...34. That's only 1 each day. Each page at the bottom has 45 posts in it (not including the last page, which has 29 posts). So that means that of the...1199 posts in those 27 pages, only 1 out of every 35 posts is locked. Just thought a little math would do you good. :)

Actually, I'd have thought that less thasn 1 out of 35 posts on PU was a flame war or something.

Oh yeah, Dopefish... did you count the number of deleted and moved posts?

Deleted posts are figured to not exist at all, since they're deleted from EVERYTHING (including post counts and the search forums). Moved posts aren't physically moved, they're just recopied somewhere else (more often than not to Off Topic).

I'm only an irregular visitor here on PuF, but from what I've seen, Rooster is doing an excellent job as a moderator. I wish we had a much more strict admin over at GTF .... sigh.

Look at the PuF page of topics: 80% of posts are UT-related
Look at the GTF page of topics: Often more than 50% are OT bullsh*t and flamewars.

I was often close to making the decission to switch my home-forum over to PuF becasue of this, but all my buddies are over at GTF. I'll continue to stop by now and then on PuF though ... :)
