What BU needs...

...optional blogging for it's hosting sites. I'd probably update my website much more if it were using some type of blog software. Now that I think about it, I really don't need much in the way of hosting pictures or whatever. Just a nice site with a mostly text-based blog/news frontpage, info/resume page, maybe one or two other misc pages, and the fileworks stuff. It's kind of a pain to update via ftp everytime I want to make a news post.

Is it possible to set this up somehow? Would it be something I could setup and upload via ftp, then update my home page via web browser login?

Yeah, good idea. I don't know much about blogging though... never had to use the software. I know that there are some that require installation of some sort and others that do not.

It would be nice to have a small footprinted CMS with a WYSIWYG editor available for hosted sites though.

Yeah, even if it were something as simple as logging in and making a forum post. All that would be needed would be some simple text editing features; just like the forums.
