UTXMP shortcut wont start ut2004

I ran the beta2 patch .exe file that says it contains all files necessary. It created a folder in my UT2004 directory but no UTXMP mod is listed when I look inside the game under community> user mods. The shortcut will not launch the game too. Am I missing a file somehow?

try making a shortcut C:\UT2004\System\UT2004.exe -mod=UTXMP as the Target value, and see if it loads.
