TOO many weapons dropped, can't change?

I have selected to not have weapons, ammo, items dropped, but weapons always drop. Since I like to start everyone with a couple good weapons, there ends up being a ton of weapons on the ground, slows things down and I dont like the look of it. Any suggestions?
