Recently, for no particular reason, whenever I click the taskbar icon for Outlook Express it takes about three minutes to load up. I can still do other stuff, so its not that much of a problem, but its annoying. Can anyone help? Thanks

Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.
my puter did this too....at the same time UT screwed up with no framerates at all. I did a reformat and volia....everything fixxed. However...I`m sure you would like to get around that if possable.
my outlook2000 did that many times too under XP, tracked it down to UDMA being enabled and caching on a about to die hard drive.
once nortons registry cleanup helped it (in Norton Utils) tehn it was a conflict of Via's drivers in the end i ripped the secondary dead hard drive out and threw it and reinstalled XP.

hmmm.... I have winMe with a new 30GB HD and have no problems with UT. I'll try dfiddling with DMA and maybe investigate with norton. thanks 
well i just had it again, pauses everytime i clicked anything, so i looked thru the advanced stuff. and removed the ICQ intregration bar and Net folders from the addins and COM addins. and its stopped.
hmmmm.... I'll try to get rid of the ICQ NEteDetect Agent (or whatever it is) I didn't think of that... or do you mean add-ins in Outlook?
