If it was up to me, I'd also make it a law that illegal immigrants who have babies in the US, their kids aren't citizens if their parents aren't legal.

Alright, throw out Jus Solis. People aren't citizens based on there place of birth.
It only benefits illegal immigrants.
Next, throw out Jus Sanguinis. People aren't citizens based on their lineage.
It's racist and all that.

Now, there are no citizens. Hoorah for BlAcK_PaTrIoT2. Defender of the Nation.

Article 3 of the U.S. Constitution states:
The Constitution Of The United States Of America said:
The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted.

By making citizenship based only on lineage, denationalisation would extend to one's children, thereby violating the provision that "no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted.".

Thus, such denial of Jus Solis would be contrary to the explicit statement of the Constitution. Not that that would be important to Congress, of course...
