Go to some regional Lanparty's. I used to pick up used and sometimes new/unopened copies of 2k4 for five bucks. There's a lot of ppl who hate the game or have tired of it and just want to get rid of it...

yes so did i; it's rubbish huh. i'll will be selling cs:s to get ut2k4, but only for utxmp.
utxmp is being formed from a great team and the opinions of lots of dedicated fans - it's gonna be great.

Yeah, I left. XP blew up and I never got round to re-installing (install U2, then XMP, then patches, then maps, un-install U2... JOY!)

But the public server were all empty or full of arse holes when I left.

Then I tried other online "games" (CS!! Team Death Match with one shot kills! woo!!)

...but...

I miss my turrety goodness....
Sometimes I even stand at the top of my stairs and throw flour bags at my flatmates, but it's just not the same.... :'(

Actually, later that day I ran to GAME, whipped it out on the counter and used it to pay for UT2K4. I love Visa.
