you posted a poll about women at the top of a recruitment string, what does that have to do with it?
you posted an image of your fat-ass holding a crappy gun made by a crappy country for crappy terrorists to shoot perfectly good women, what does that have to do with the string?

finally, my post was in reply to above "fat-ass" picture, which you posted in this string, thereby meriting my post.

Regas has done nothing wrong here as far as I see, and I am the one who set up the original sponsors.

A simple post announcing that our clan that (IS by the way fully sponsored by Microsoft and Edelman Worldwide, who distribute Microsoft gaming hardware) is indeed open for recruiting new members for serious ladder play.

It seems that it is all of you who have a problem with Microsoft. This is nothing new after all....

Forget this post as we clearly will have nothing to do with any who sign up from here.

That was in poor taste, but his original post was fine until you all decided to challenge and taunt him. He's just a kid in our clan, grow up, you all seem quite easy to taunt!

And if you are a grownup, get in touch with your lawyers and have them explain freedom of expression in this country, and then have them explain the laws around internet postings in terms of credability in court or in business.

Spose the main problem I have with this whole thing is it brings a sports-like level of competetiveness into a gaming culture which is perfectly happy just doing it for fun. Once you sponsor people (i.e. pay them; it IS basically the same thing) it will never be the same.

To some extent, it is true that any representative of Microsoft would've had a hard time with this crowd. Whaddaya expect, you guys are like the little MS fishes swimming blithely into the penguin's den . I'm not gonna make any personal attacks or participate in M$ bashing, but I will say that I don't like what Microsoft is doing by sponsoring a gaming team (as I explained above).

Also, As far as Millions of dollars signing bonuses etc. NOBODY is worth that for their preformance in an online game. Not even Mr. Gates himself.

I challenge Mr William Gates the 3rd to a 1on1 UT deathmatch. No powerups, no Redeemer. DM-Morpheus, DM-Phobos and DM-Liandri. 2 rounds out of 3 win the match. The server must be located in Europe. I'll consider that Mr Gates has forfeited if he doesn't answer this before the 9th of December 2001, or has someone else play in his place.
