I guess you can call me paranoid or what but the only maps i have are the ones that came with the game and the 4 bonus packs. I never really touched the maps that are being made everyday because none of them are made by the people who made the original maps. I always think that the maps being made will include some sort of virus or bug and thoroughly thrash my game. Am i dumb for thinking this... because i really wanted to try that map that is based on zelda but i dont want to take the chance.

Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. I have 363 maps so far.
No map can make UT corrupt. The worst that can happen is that UT will quit with an error message.

137 custom maps.
I install them in a separated folder, not for being afraid of corrupting UT, but because it's easier to find the ones I dislike and delete them.

You can create new folders inside the main UT folder, with different names, and add them to the UT path, in "Unrealtournament.ini".
If you create a folder called "maps2", you'll have to add the following line to UT look for maps there.
Paths=../Maps2/*.unr
You can do it to textures, sounds, music and *.u files.
Only the *.int files must be copied to the actual "system" folder.

wow thas alotta maps yall have i currently have 267 maps.... i have UT and unreal 1 maps in the same folder(i play unreal under UT) and i have the GOTYE so im doing purty good, thank god for cache converters

Is that all the maps that you have? I currently have 1169 CTF maps
on my home rig and over 1200 on my rig at work. I guess that I am a
little compulsive when it comes to downloading maps!
Im not for sure where you exactly get the zelda map.. but it was part of the screen shot of the day thing at the top of this page.

well you just have to wait for the maps to become more popular, then you'll see em', at least for a while.

theres a bunch of custom map server faves i have, (wes, acom, 950, skippers, ued, chudzilla) but when they are all full - i do a search for servers by map names to find the good stuff!
