that's because you = fagot

I have a load of old manga vid stuff on tape too, because they have a stanglehold on the UK market so there's not much choice here.

thank god for region-free dvd players :)

hehe,
germany is far worser with anime. Anime = dirty nasty porn
If been roaming various shops for Akira the movie(big fan)
when I asked them they looked strange and asked what genre it was. Anime I said and they replied with a "we dont have such stuff"
I almost have the half serie as comic manga to read but they are expensive... anyway I dled the movie over morpheus...

childhood stuff

Robotech, Voltron, Tranformers... anything with big robots basically.

Stuff I watch now

Eva, Cowboy bebop and some full length anime.

Cowboy Bebop probably has the best story of all the animated stuff I've seen so far. I love how the japanese aren't afraid to kill off main characters.

talking of giant robots and stuff...
I recall something from my childhood, was a puppet show, about some space saga or other, and the individual vessels could join together to a huge robot.
I think it was called star fleet or something like that, but I couldn't find anything on that via google.
I guess it originated in japan, because of the design of the robot and all.
it used to be on saturdays or sundays late afternoon, on either sky (back when there was just one channel "Sky TV", or the Super Channel, but I think it was sky.
anyone know what I'm talking about?
