Phase 4 winners of the Make Something Unreal Contest have been announced, and along with the announcement comes over $100,000 in prizes. Grand Prize judging is underway which will see a total of $175,000 in cash and an Unreal Engine 3 license distributed amongst the winners. Mark Rein had this to say:

"Phase four of the $1 Million Intel Make Something Unreal Contest is like graduation of sorts. It's the culmination of long-term game development efforts resulting in outstanding mods we've seen evolve from phase to phase. Mod authors have built up their creations, sought feedback from their peers in the Unreal community, received support through previous phase winnings, and now we're down to where the best and the brightest teams really shine. We're so pleased to shower these guys with prizes and recognition, and we're eager to help them all achieve professional success."

That is some dough being thrown around. Congrats to everyone in that list. Looks like The Haunted crew really cleaned up.

Congrats to the winners, particularly those who have been plugging away at modding for years, nice to see rewards going to people whose work has helped others learn.
