U2-Sulfur-Cyclone did a preview of Defense Allience over at Mod Squad and this mod looks hot! The preview explains quite a bit of stuff and has a nice number of screenshots to supplement it.
The coolest thing mentioned in the preview is that you can play with up to 99 bots and get the same frame rates as when you play with 15 or so bots. I don't know how that's possible but it's pretty sweet.

Post comments on what you think this mod is going to be like when it comes out. I think it will be a big success if they incorporate offline play into it. The idea is awesome and so far it looks like it's coming along well.
