so how complicated have you guys made your fight plans ? anyone look at the leaderboard ? im wondering why some people have retired fighters that had great records , maybe just bored with them or trying new things ? probably , i mean the guy in the lead has almost a billion dollars hehe ... shirk ...

I just look at my fighter's randomly generated ablities and try to make a fight plan that suits what he can do. If he's fast and agile, use fancy footwork etc.
Every fight a boxer is in, he loses points from his, um... constitution let me say as i can't think of the proper word. The more points he loses, eventually, the less conditioning he will actually have. This is in effect to simulate aging of the boxer. The more fights he has, eventually the more worn out he will get.

i was just hoping to not get beaten like a dog hehe those recaps are pretty fun to read ...
humpy took the first 8 rounds and whitey jr. won the last 4 , no knockdowns but he did stagger me once ...
not a very close fight , now i regret not putting in any of those 'if behind by X then go for knockout' conditions , pretty cool to go back now and try and see what worked and what didnt ...
good fun ! i want a rematch ! ... shirk ...
{EDIT} ugh ! just looked at the fight again , the only reason i got those last rounds is because you DID use the 'run if winning by X' condition (im guessing) ... oh well , just happy my guy made it thru my first fight without getting knocked out of the ring ... shirk ... hey how did you customize your gym page like that ? good fight ...

Well, my gym is 4-2 so far
Now, it's time to get into editing my fighter's plans instead of just using the basics.
I still haven't figured out how to do the homepage setup thing :/ either.

I just now printed off the "how to edit a fight" 101 forms and will have a real strategy for my fighters next time around.

Here's an example fight plan that I used to use. It's called "SuperClinch" and works best with a fighter that is taller and stronger than your opponent.
1) 6/6/8 (clinch);
#Fight is Close so Hammer away!
4) 8H/6/6 (inside);
#Fighter is Winning so back off a bit
4) if score > 1 then 5/7/8 (clinch);
#Fighter is Losing so go back inside and pound away
4) if score < -1 then 7/6/7 (inside);
#Fighter is Tired so clinch!
4) if endurance_percent < 100 - 5 * round then 5/7/8 (clinch);
#Fighter is Exhausted clinch more and go for a KO
4) if endurance_percent < 100 - 10 * round then 4H/8/8 (clinch);
#Opponent is Tired turn it up a bit
4) if opponent = tired and endurance_percent > 67 then 6/5/9 (inside);
#Knockout Opportunity hammer that mofo!

Now, I wouldn't copy that and use it unless you have the type of fighter it's made for. It gives you some guidelines tho... I also use the if stun damage > 1 type of args in my new fight plans, read up about it in the docs!
