I'm tired of people posting spam in my thread. Let's keep it clean, follow the forum rules!

The thread for opinions about my map posted by DavidM http://forums.beyondunreal.com/showthread.php?threadid=99067
has become a place for exchanging emotions with very personal character which is awfully out of topic! Imagine if you came to a restaurant and the only things in the menu is the hardware stores surplus.

Please respect the topic of the thread, otherwise the forum becomes a total mess.

Thanks for your attention!
I see your point that we live in "not a perfect world".
I don't mind people rediculing or making fun of my map. But that particular thread some personal element has gone too far. Someone wanted to check just how far I can go on. By starting this thread I wanted to say: Hey, I'm stopping right there and you guys too, should hold your horses before you've crossed the point-of-no-return.

There are some topics in which a compromise can never be reached. That's all right, as far as it does not become a personal offence. And that's what we all should avoid. You can say whatecer you want about my map, and in return I expect others to tolerate my opinion on their maps.

Me personally I'm in good relationships with Germans. In fact, my only girlfriend is German. And when I hear dirty jokes about Germans and Russians I do take it personally. Jokes like that are not appropriate. Especially when it's totally out of topic! And especially the offensive jokes that essencially make no sence.

So please get me right. I don't expect impossible. I just want people here to follow some guidelines and keep in certain framework. In short: "Keep this forum clean!"

W00t, I missed dirty, offensive jokes about Germans! Dammit, where are they? C'mon gimme, gimme! Or at least some leet Austrian jokes.

I like jokes of any kind as long as they're good. A good Bavarian joke will make me laugh as hard as anything.

And by coincident, my wife is German. Well, three generations back she is. And before we got married she was my Girlfriend.
I, however, am not Russian, so there ends any similarities.

True story:
At my work is an older Ukranian named Leo.
I might see him once or twice a week and in passing I would say "Slow down" to him.
He would go his way puzzled and this continued for several months till one day he stopped and turned around.
"Why is you are always saying this 'slow down' to me?" he asked politely in broken english with his strong accent.
And I answered:
"Because you are always Russian."
Anyway, he thought it was funny.
And I didn't even have to explain it to him.

LMAO Twrecks!! that was hillarious. you played that joke on him for several months? damn i couldn't hold it open that long. i would end up breaking and telling him why i say that to him. i would lose my mind if i had a joke open that long.
