So, back in the day, when Kaybe·Toys still existed, they sold this watch...

...it's called a c-watch talking watch. I've been trying to find another for the last several months cuz the store no longer exists and most of their stock is all over the place now. Well, that and the fact that I couldn't remember what the thing was called until just last night.

Creative googling, it's what I do.

There were a few kinds. This particular one had a really foul mood and burped on every hour, among assorted other rude noises.

My old one was pretty cool up until it tragically died. After years upon years of having water·proof watches, I didn't take into account this one wasn't. Not the shower, it was a particularly rainy day that killed it. Sadly I didn't have the sense to open it up, dry it out, and let it sit for a bit on the offchance it might work again.

I was so naive back then.

My birthday's coming up at the end of this month, right on Turkey Day as it happens. Not looking for anyone to buy one of these for me, but my searches aren't having much luck.

For a birthday gift, I'd appreciate it if any of you could point me to a good place to find where I can buy one.

Why the fuck do you want to wear a cheap shitty watch toy for children?

Different strokes man. It isn't always about popularity or uniqueness. Some times its about Nostalgia. My Canon 300d Original Digital Rebel will probably never be used again but I keep it around to remind me of where I was when I first started out.
