I do like the whole. Let's make a short game purposely bad, so we can sell everyone our awesome new game. It'd be much better then giving them a demo so they could actually try our game.

It seems very lame, my Nearby Weep parody of Far Cry was much better even though I didn't make it. But well, I guess I will download it and try, what are the requirements? If its higher than UT3 I dont think I can run it.

There's no requirements. And it's got the lowest detailed things ever, and it'll randomly pick a stupid resolution for you. But tbh, you're better off watching the video, it's that bad.

From the various Bulletstorm videos I've seen, poking fun at the on-screen text, bloody screen, and slo-mo seems pretty hypocritical.

If the game was taking itself seriously, yes. And it's not really jabbing at the text on the screen, it's jabbing at the leveling up of your dude in CoD MP.
Oh god I sound like a Bulletstorm apologist.

It's an amusing idea I think. That said, I was secretly hoping the actual download was the PC Bulletstorm demo...

It was amusing yes. But still I think everyone would have preferred the PC demo. This could easily have been a video. There's literally no point in playing it if you've watched the video.
