I know there is a lot of bull**** in liandri archives still and that it's just some kind of fan wikipedia like and under construction.
First, I noticed there is in this http://liandri.beyondunreal.com/Skaarj
thread a misinformation, firtst I don't have UC2, but the name Razik is wrong for the skaarj claws, they are just skaarj gloves, if you visit the official site of UC2 you'll find out that this http://liandri.beyondunreal.com/Razik is bull**** and that Razik is called just the variant of skaarj blades, but not all are called Razik omg!!!!!!
I hate tahtw ehn this lies spread out around all places.
Just go http://www.liandriconflict.com/ and see melee weapons, you'll see skaarj blades, ok then go to race and select skaarj razik and look at description, see now?
THE SKAARJ BLADE IS NOT CALLED RAZIK, ONLY THAT ONE TYPE IS.

The whole point Liandri is that it is editable by anyone. If you don't want to edit the page itself, there is always the attached discussion page where you can bring up these kinds of issues. You are much more likely to reach the people working on the articles by doing that than by posting here.

It would also help if you weren't so insulting about your point. People make mistakes, and those mistakes aren't always noticed immediately.

Well, I do have UC2 and the blade and blaster set-up worn on their wrists IS called the Razik in the manual. So...

There are the blades ON the Razik that are the melee weapon, (since the integrated blasters aren't a melee weapon, technically) hence the distinction between Skaarj blades and Skaarj Razik, but the device itself IS CALLED the Razik.
I don't see anything in the description in the manual that makes any distinction between this particular weapon and any of the others. In fact, it seems more general, "Skaarj Razik: The dreaded Skaarj blades are just as dangerous at a distance, firing a pair of laser-charged poison projectiles. Alternate fire is a debilitating poison that slows opponents."

Now, if it had said "This" instead of "The" you might have a case, but "the" is particularly general, and does not imply, and certainly does not prove, that only this device is called the Razik. In fact it could be taken to say the opposite via it's generality.

Skaarj Glove, is, what the system name for the cut Razik weapon in U2? Games often have different names during development than what ends up being official. Take Quake for instance, where most of the enemies have different names in the system files than their "official" names, (Shalrath/Vore, Wizard/Scrag...) Doesn't mean that Vore or Scrag is wrong, and certainly not worth getting pissy about...
The only thing that the UC2 description says is that the combination of skaarj blades and blasters is called a Razik...

Nope, you are wrong, the skaarj razik is the double shot/poison weapon and skaarj blades (even with a shot) are just skaarj blades. I thought difefrently before, but while reading it through it's really clear for me now.

OK, but anyway, unless someone from Epic comes right here in and say otherwise, I will never again believe that razik is the name for that weapon even if its written by wikipedia or liandri beyondunreal at skaarj or razik sections, it is only name for the specific one, but the normal skaarj blade is just called skaarjblade as I said, the site says so.
And still, I don't like the name, why would other blades would be named like that, it's the specific double charged shot/poison weapon, not the ortehr one, the other one had the laser attached too so, so why? That is a complete nonsense, I won't edit the liandri beyondunreal myself though.

If you won't help edit, you don't have much grounds for complaint. The entire purpose of Liandri archives was to give everyone the power to help detail the Unreal universe. Not for a half dozen people to research and write and another half dozen to sit idly by and complain.
