So I bought one of these things a few days ago and it's totally stupid. 24 inchs of widescreen 1920x1200 gaming goodness. If you have the sweet moola and are in the mood for a LCD monitor, do yourself a favor and get this one.

- Clear, sharp images at a maximum resolution of up to 1920x1200 pixels
- Supports advanced features like PIP (Picture in Picture) and PBP (Picture By Picture)
- 4 USB 2.0 ports — two located on the side of the display for easy attachment/detachment of peripherals
- 9-in-1 Flash card reader on side of the display

Orgasmic

I might post some in-game screenshots later. :)

I actually don't work for Epic anymore. ;)

Here are a few screens from various games. None of them have been altered in anyway other than a little jpeg compression and they are at full size. You guys can't see the amazing color this screen can put out as it's only really visible in person, but it has quite possibly the best image quality I have ever seen.

We use the 21" 1600x1200 version of this same LCD monitor at work and I have yet to see a dead pixel on anyone's screen. I'm not a big fan of Dell computers, but their LCDs are second to none.
we have 15 (i think) of the smaller dell LCDs (they go up to 1280x1024), and there is one dead pixel in all of them combined. actually its only semi-dead, green and blue work, just the red seems to be stuck at full intensity.

Tom, ever try a hdmi or dvi connection on a hdtv? I've been thinking about trying it out on mine. I remember the guys at Epic hooking up a bigscreen for the UT2k3 launch and stuff... I was just wondering if it was worth trying (some of those cables are not cheap, especially hdmi)

Two questions (sort of).

1. What's the refresh rate? I couldn't find it on Dell's site.

2. I guess I'm stupid, but those screenshots don'rt show me how awesome your monitor looks, they do however, show how awesome my monitor looks. ;)

I've not had any experience with HDMI or DVI on a HDTV. I friend of mine as a 50-something inch plasma display and he uses the HDMI stuff but I don't think he uses it with his computer.

Liz, 1. 60hz; 2. Yeah the color and picture quality are only viewable in person. I mainly wanted to show off how big it is. :p
