After months and months of beta testing and tweaking, matoux has released the final version of his MSUC Phase Four Finalist, ONS-ToonCountry. This final version includes a few tweaks off of the MSUC version, along with new custom music. The map takes place in a cartoonish village island in the middle of a serene ocean. Lush vegetation and attention to detail abound in this map, while still maintaining reasonable frame rates and gameplay. This map definitely belongs on your hard drive just for the sheer artistic uniqueness, if not for being an excellent Onslaught map. Be sure to download it from his site.

Before downloading, I'd like to know exactly what is different in this version than in a version I download sometime back in June or however long ago it was :)

This thing looks really damn cool, but the low frame rates are a turn-off (for me). I was getting around 20 heading up to attack the red core on a 9800 Pro. :( Good job on being completely original and pulling it off [almost] seamlessly! :)

I really enjoyed the earlier version - and visually it was very cool. Deffenately one of the more original maps out there. :2thumb:

Cool thing, and it plays well even with bots. ;) But it also makes my FX5900XT (o/c to 440mhz/780mhz) sweat... But I don' suppose it was ever meant to be a low-spec map...
