Those of you who have played the original Unreal Tournament remember the additional 2 team colors, gold and green. You probably even remember the user made modification CTF4 that took advantage of those two extra team colors and created a four-way Capture the Flag match, complete with 4 flags. Greg “Overload” Laabs is well on his way towards bringing that gametype (and TDM4) to Unreal Tournament 2004.
In addition to the two extra team colors (see pics below), there is team colored instagib primary fire, complete menu and bot support, and the option to have to manually return the flag.
In order to take advantage of all of these options, CTF4 requires custom maps. There are currently 3 or 4 (1 original and a few remakes), one of which is CTF-Joust4 (see pic below). But they would like to launch with more and are seeking talented mappers to create CTF4 maps. Contact Overload if you can help.
