[Matinee] The Editor Has You.

I had this idea floating around in my noodle since August when I came up with the idea in a dream.

The basic idea is the characters are aware that they're inside a game, and some of them can map/code.

Best played with the sound effects volume 4 times the music volume in the Audio settings.

Thanks for putting this up at BU. I saw a posting on your webpage about this but I don't subscribe to ATARI forums.

I must download it and give it a go.

It's incredibly hard to think of new gameplay angles when we're living in a world where everybody seems to have done everything.

New ideas can be hard to come by....

You all might wanne check http://movie.flatclan.de - there's a gametype that allows you to play the matinee movies ingame. (no matinee map searching in your map folder

)

Direct Download:Matinee-Gametype-UT2004

All you need to do is to add a "MAT-" prefix to the matinee movie.
e.g. MAT-TheEditorHasYou.ut2
after that you can start the Movie ingame
-> instant action
-> custom gametypes
-> Matinee
-> choose the Movie you would like to view

If you would like to watch some more Matinee Movies,which propably are not as good as AngelMappers (haven't seen it myself - am @work) - go to movie.flatclan.de there are a few

Damn you're right, sorry for the inconveniance - try to download one of the other UT2004 Matinee files like this- they all contain the matinee gametype for UT2004 - i'll fix it as soon as i get home.
