Monster hunt ! Where, o where ?

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. I'm desperately looking for new maps for the excellent Monsterhunt mod. I have quite a number of them, but I know there are many many more "out there"... Problem is, I don't know where to get them. I've searched but didn't find anything. There was one site listing all existing MH maps, but links were down :(

Can anyone help me ?

I think I can. 3, who runs a coop server is running the monsterhunt mod now on his server.
He's runninig plenty of custom maps.

Funny thing is that he didn't put a link to a site where you could dl the maps :con:
dl from the server was course a no-no, cause you were immediatly rejected.

I'll just send him a mail and ask him where he got all those maps from :-B

Not even 3 knows where to get the maps from :con: eh... yeah... really I'm :confused:
he says it's hard to find mh maps on the web these days... :con: yeah ok but..

I think a few e-mails need to be sent left and right to get all these maps back online. I'm sure there are a lot of fans sites that wouldn't object to hosting them. Feeling up to the challenge :p ?

Namu, if you're still reading this: 3's monsterhunt is running the monsterhunt now (sometimes it's MH, then regular coop etc..)
and you can download the maps from the server.

But beware, most maps are monstrosities. Fugly as hell
:( Ffs, why do they have to be so ugly?
Take "New York power plant", that one ranks among the ugliest maps I've seen so far.

Gameplay? Depends. On some of the maps it's good.
Then there are a few which are so retarded... it almost makes a grown man cry :OB heh.

I've played the following map yesterday:

TGES6: the great escape scene 6.

This has to be the best one. Insane map? Sure. But fun :) It has a couple of hundred monsters, but some respawn.

Doesn't matter, in the end they're all dead anyway :D
We started out with 3 hunters, then one left, two joined and finally there were five of us.
25 lives each.

Only 3 of us made it. But that's cause of well.. apparently poor teamwork at the end of the map.
But that problem is fixed now :O)
Next time we'll pwn the level :D

Hmmm, I've got some free web space where these maps can be stored. I'll upload them in a few weeks time and post the links here. In the meantime, please post any other links you might have :) .
