Who wants to play inf (rav2/dtas) and what time?

Hello all,

I saw Mappies post here about an inf day, but some people play often ( I am one of them ).

Since it's hard to know what time to meet people online and which server they will be I'll start a new thread ( I haven't found any specific thread talking about it ), for people who wants to play inf more days but it's afraid of beeing looking into gamespy all night and see nothing.
Another point is that it is useless to have less than 6 guys in a RA/DTAS server. So we can organize ourselves in 6+ people here and then meet eatch other in a server.

This thread looked a bit dumb to me at the first time, but i found myself
looking into gamespy last night to see if someone would join a server. Then I was thinking about a way to say you guys that I want to play and which server I'll be and what time. So I had this idea ( if i can call an idea ). If things go fine people will post, if not this thread will die.

And please, try just to post : time/server/info ,to make it a small and usable post.

server: AFA3 or GD4 (not sure if GD4 has DTAS)

Time: 1800 GMT (I know it's early, but this darned ISP cuts us off at 7pm)

I think we should try to get at least one game a week. I recommend Sundays. I think it should be about 22 GMT ( 14 PST) so it can catch Euros and NA players.

I also recommend using jgkdo since it is public or AFA3 since it has all the muties we like and it is fast and holds up to 20 ppl.

Also, everyone should post their ICQ, AIM, Yahoo, MSN, or whatever. Then when you sit down to your comp, make sure to log in and if anyone else is logged in, grab them and tell them to go to the server.

I usually play around 21-22 GMT on the VeGA or JgKdo servers

Come one all of you, post your ICQ, AIM, Yahoo, and MSN

That way we can tell each other to hop on the server for a game instead of hopping on and hoping that someone sees you.

I get that stuff confused. I was playing, but I have lost many maps from a formatting. I was hoping that server info thread was more up to date, and had all servers. It still seems that NA is domintated with ra286. I don't mind it, just that it updates far too often. I was hoping a euro server was filled today, but I didn't see anything.

jaymian if you're playing at 1900 central you won't see many euro. it's 12 or 13 for us

and if you want to organize games and reach players. please use IRC, that's the easiest way IMOH. you can use the applet on the inf site:

the channel is usually full of forumers and beta/team members so you should feel at home

BTW, I usually have a look at the server list every day around 21:00 GMT+1 (except wednesdays). If there is not people , i go to play TTR (nowhere near as fun, but quite fun too)

Back OT, i get that alot too Rasalom. When i feel like playing, nobody's on. And even my shouts in #infiltration often don't get the desired amount of people to the server..

. Your better chance for some RAv2 action is during Euro peak hours ,starting 8pm-9pm GMT+1. Sometimes there is people playing up to 2am-3am GMT+1.

I'll try to be on a bit more than I have been.

times: usually 1500 - 1800 EST (2000 - 2200 GMT) Monday - Friday. Weekends are harder to determine if I'll be able to play. Need to spend time with my son you know.

server: I'd prefer AFA3 ( get the best pings there) but will play wherever a RAv2 game can be found.
