Is The Redeemer Cheap???

For the second day in a row, someone has bitched at me for constantly using the redeemer in lavagiant. Last night it was Gator(CP) and today the honor goes to Pimp(187). Now look, I can understand the spawn snipin thing, but am I now supposed to avoid the redeemer just because some idiot can't get out of the way? What's next are people gonna complain about me shooting at them?

Oh, and defending the flag is a no-no too. You have to let them take it. Otherwise they call you a camper.

Oh, and you can't snipe - cause then you're a camper too.

And don't do too well, then you're a flak whore, a shock whore, a RL whore, an LPB, redeemer whore...

Don't transrun either, cause then you're lame. Don't telefrag anyone either, cause it's a cheap kill.

i remmeber on time on lava giant i was running toward the enemy base. I was heading to the the enterence to the far left of the redeemer, next thing i know i see a missil shoot out of the cave where the redeemer is. I stop whatch, thinking "ewww, my buddys are gonna get it BIG", so i start to type incomming redeemer, all of the sudden, i see it turn towards me, im thinking "oh ****!" i see the cave not to far away, hoping that i can reach the cave in time. Well i just hit enter and forgot about typing and started to run, my team mates got a msg saying "incomm". So im running towards the cave, i see it comming closer and closer im almost there, i turn around to see where it is, i cant see it, i guess it went somewhere else, but i still here it. Well the rocket was making circles over my head. So im thinking "HOLY ****! AHAHAHAHHAHHHHH" so i start shooting at it madly but i cant hit it, the rocket somehow dodges my bullet and turns around behind me and sticks it up my *** .

Funniest thing that ever happend to me in a CTF game, LOL! you'de have to be there, funny.

Are they your teammates, complaining because you are a redemmer whore who camps on it's respawn point? As unwritten etiquette goes (in my book), I'd say it's cheap. Would you b!tch if someone else on your team did the same, with the shield belt, damage amp, etc? If so, change your ways. CTF is supposed to be a team game. You should play like you're a part of it. Share the goodies with your fellow teammates. If not, you should be playing DM. Then you have no team to share with and you can whore all the goodies yourself!

Or maybe a team can designate you as the redemmer whore (no offence with that term, here or anywhere else). Just like people post up as snippers or flag runners, offence or defence, maybe some clan can use a redemmer/freelancer. I wouldn't know, though, as I am clanless.

If they are your adversaries, stick it to 'em. Just spread the wealth to your teammates.

They weren't teamates they were the opposing team. The redeemer cave was empty almost every time I went in it, so I would grab the redeemer, alt fire it and shove it right up there candy asses! Pimp said I couldn't do anything else and then I saw him tryin to creep up behind me so I lit him up with double-enforcers! All the time their team is doin what losers usually do.....complainin and makin excuses!

i love a good camper, sniperbitch or what ever, they spice the game a bit up.

and how the hell are you to defend a base when you'r may camp or lame.

I think pple should do whatever they like and if anyone has a problem with that just blow him up with the redeemer then snipe him when he respawns and rush toward his base telefragging his teammates in the proces.

No its not cheap at all, unless its being misused. Still even in the case of being misused there is nothing wrong with it. A redeemer used to kill a random opponent for the sake of a frag and boosting one's stats is cheap (still nothing wrong with it), but using it to kill or aid a flag runner is being smart.
But like I said cheap or not there is nothing wrong with it so to hell with those people that insist on crying and whining about it. Besides you can hear a redeemer coming and either get some friggin cover or shoot the thing down. On Face I love to shoot down Redeemers while all of my teammates drop a load in their panties and run for cover. Its quite easy with a Shock Combo.

Thanx 4 the responses. All I got 2 say is that I hope the next person who whines about it is hungry, cause he's gonna be eatin redeemer all night long.

There's nothing better than a camper or sniper or etc. etc. You always know where to find them. Sometimes you just have to toss a few grenades in on the way past to be assured of a kill. hehe. Still nothing wrong with any of that.
