As some of you might know, I have an idea of converting Unreal 2 weapons to Unreal Tournament. I would work on it myself, but there is a few things stopping me:
1. I don't have 3D model editing software, except UnrealEds.
2. I have no idea how to script in UnrealScript, but I do understand most of the code that is written.
So I need some help with that. I can do almost anything else, if that doesn't conflict with those two points. If someone is willing to help and do the model work or code work (though I don't think there is much of this, the code should be almost re-useable), this project would be completed in no time, and when the Extension Pack is released, we could enhance the weapons.
Here's what sources of code and models I have or know that there are:
1. Unreal 2, but they don't include exportable animations.
2. XMP, but there are a few missing weapons.
3. UTXMP, the same as XMP but in UT2004 and free, so it would grant easier access for those who have UT2004.
4. Unreal 2 weapons for UT2004 pack, but I think that they're the same as in UTXMP.
For those who have no idea what kind of weapons are Unreal 2 weapons, here are the links to their descriptions (almost all are expanded by me):

Those which don't have their own pages:
Vulcan Flamethrower
Magnum pistol
Spider Spore Cannon (not in XMP!)
Drakk Laser Rifle (not in XMP!)
The Takkra (not in XMP!)
Singularity Cannon (not in XMP!)
I'm going to add some info about these as well (I'm good at descriptions and other content management ). I have also made a table showing the equivalents of certain weapons in Unreal Tournament to those in Unreal 2.
If anyone wish to help or at least give any advice, I would be very grateful. I was thinking about porting the weapons since I started playing Unreal 2, and anything I tried didn't work out Hopefully this time someone will help!
Might give more info tomorrow, but feel free to comment...
