Okay, here it is!
After months of work, I am finally ready to officially announce my next project, which is now only weeks away from being ready to release:
CTF4 is coming to UT2004!
Description:
CTF4 is exactly what it sounds like: CTF with 4 teams.
Why would 4 teams be better than 2 you ask? Simple: More action, more choices, more strategy.
With four teams the objective becomes more than just attacking the enemy flag and defending your own. You must think carefully about which team to attack. Because other teams can get points without ever attacking your base (they can attack the other teams instead) - it becomes important to watch what all the teams are doing. Just because you have a strong defense does not mean you will win!
Oh yeah, and it'll also come with TDM4 (4 way team deathmatch.) I needed to create that as a base before I could even begin CTF4.

Now, we are short on one thing: Maps! We have 3 or 4 that we will be launching with (1 original map and 2 or 3 conversions) but we would love to have a lot more. If any talented mappers would like to make some quality maps to be released with CTF4, please email me as soon as possible! Please include in your email a link to one of your publicly released maps so I can see your work. 3 team maps are also welcome, although we would like to have a good number of 4 team maps.

And for those wondering: Yes, I will be working on ONS4 once CTF4 is complete. I will also be working with the Classic Domination team to bring 4 team support to that awesome gametype as well.
Okay, I'd like to answer a few questions now.
Yes, I am also planning on doing some sort of four way BR as well.
Yes, there will be an option that will make the position indicators on the HUD point to the current location of the flags, not the bases.
We have green and gold skins for every skin that comes with UT2004, as well as the ECE.
Yes, you will be able to set up the game so the scoring is just like normal CTF (that is the default.)
Yes, it will support bots 100%. Not only that, but they are SMART. They will choose which team to attack intelligently, and the squad AI allows them to pick up multiple flags, carry flags back, and all sorts of things. Single Player gamers rejoice.
Also, CTF4 will fully support the voice recognition feature in UT2004. You can tell which bots to attack which teams, and they'll do it.
Also also, I will be running an official CTF4 server (maybe 2 if it's popular) so you can be sure that there will be a place to play online. -Loric- asked how green and gold skins will be handled in these mods, concerned that you will only get to use the models that we have made skins for. You're in luck! I thought ahead for people like you. There is an .ini file that specifies which skins are allowed and what packages they are from. If you create your own skin with green and gold versions, all you have to do is put it in the ini file, and you'll be able to play with it in CTF4. If someone chooses a model or skin that does not have green and gold versions, their player will fall back to the default model.
