now that i've got your attention...... 
seriously, though, check out the attached shot... my landscapes all seem to be completely lacking any sort of texture... objects and everything else show up just fine, but landscape is white... now i've tried everything from the texture sizes in the preferences, to the in-game options... can't think of anything else that might be the problem...
oh yeah, in case it helps, here are my system specs:
P-III 850Mhz w/128MB RAM
40GB HDD
Intel i8-something integrated GPU
i guess that's all that's relevant in this case... anyone had similar experiences and managed to fix it?
