Gforce 2 and Fog

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

I remember with my Old Video card I would see Fog in Eternal Caves in the upper middle room. With my new card (GForce2) I don't see it. But when I Open it in the Editor the fog is there. Is there somewhere I have to turn the fog on for my card, or in preferences somewhere?

Yes

To turn fog on with the geforce 2, type preferences into the console while playing ut, under the rendering subsection go to Direct3D settings and change Volumetric lighting to true this will allow the fog to be visible.

Just once

I think you only need to do it once. It should be saved in either your unrealtournament.ini or your user.ini
