I just watched the premiere movie, and it was definitely worth the hour and a half to watch it :). I must say... it's quite different; I've never seen a cartoon like it. Although, the show DOES ooze out Gendy's drawing style, so that detracts from it a LITTLE... but not too much. The action sequences at the beginning and end were implemented flawlessly; I can tell this show has a lot of Matrix refferences coming it's way :).

I can't wait til' Monday @ 8 PM! First official Samurai Jack episode! :D

I have a trailer CD for that, that I got with InQuest magazine. Lemme tell ya, I'm glad I didn't have to buy the CD.

I thought it was stupid.

god damit, we dont want this crap, give us some unedited japanse anime like we been asking for since toonamni has started.

6 year olds like BZMew2|PuF arent the only age group that watch this stuff.

Sitting on my hard drive is the largest collection of unedited anime you could ever imagine :rolleyes:

I have Akira, Gundam 08th MS Team, Gundam Wing, Outlaw Star, Gundam 0080, Gundam 0083, Zeta Gundam, Victory Gundam, X Gundam... the list goes on :).

And if you think only 6 year old kids watch Samurai Jack, you're wrong. Gabe from Penny-Arcade has clearly expressed that he thought the show was awesome. And everyone knows penny-arcade is one of the best gaming comics around :rolleyes:.

heh, back on topic -- I didn't watch the whole thing, but I didn't really care for it. The first fifteen or so minutes was pretty standard fare -- son/grandson (I forget which) of a guy who defeated the badguy but couldn't kill him. then the son/grandson growing up and being l33t and stuff.. yada yada. I didn't really get much past that.. but it was kinda neat in an abstract way.

I'll probably watch atleast a few of the weekly episodes if I remember to watch them.
