I just want to thank anyone who responds before hand, it's gotta suck helping a bunch of a**es, who don't know what their doing all the time.
System:
700mhz celeron processor
128 MB Ram
SB Live sound card
Geforce 2 32MB MX Vid card
Asus CUSL2-C mother board
Most of the driver are updated. Just got the new Nvidia drivers and my sound drivers aren't that old, haven't done the motherboard yet though. UT is patched to 436, I did however just download the EAX enhancement from Creative.

Problem:
Last night I installed Roger Wilco to try out. It worked OK at first, but after little while UT crashed, and I got a fatal exception OE at 0028:d633f42c message. I tried to reboot My computer and I got another fatal exception OE at 0167:B00DB560. Took 3 times to reboot!! After I finally got it rebooted, UT and roger wilco worked fine the rest of the evening. Now I think I should also mention that since I'v built this computer I have randomly ( I can count the # of times on one hand) gotten a fatal exception OE at 0167:BFF83BFC during start up, not all the time though. I don't know if they are connected or not. Now today when I tried to start UT It would not load The message it gave me said this was the reason:
UNREALTOURNAMENT caused an invalid page fault in
module <unknown> at 0000:b00db560.

Can anyone out their make sense of this, I lack the depth to understand all those numbers.
Thanks again

It seems you have some trouble with your PC that is not only UT related.
What version of BIOS do you have on your mobo?
Have you overclocked ?
If you run in higher fsb than 100 it might be your RAM which cause the crash or you must upper the vcore.

A very good site where you should go is
AsusBoards.com
I have a CUSL myself and got a lot of help from there.

Ok I'm running version 6.0 on my bios and I am not overclocking.
I'm not sure about the rest, I don't think I understand the last part:"If you run in higher fsb than 100 it might be your RAM which cause the crash or you must upper the vcore. "

BTW I'm running Win 98 SE

FSB - FronSideBus. That's the speed in Mhz on your CPU bus.
It's 100 MHz and the clock multiplier in your CPU is 7 so it run in 700 MHz. To overclock the cpu you higher the fsb. The CUSL2 board is very nice in that case.
That's about that.
Back to your problem.
Where did you d/l RW from?
Could you have been infected by virus?
You should scan your HD with the latest antivirus.
If you don't have virus you could have some hardware failur.
There is some programs you can run to test your hardware.
Check out Tweakfiles under Diagnostic.

Crashes at startup, in module <unknown>

Hey Jolly.

This problem started on my W98 system as well. There is a temporary fix of just deleting all cache files, and the Unrealtournament.LOG file. I am forced to do this just to start the game, it gets annoying:confused:

I think it all started when I added a new OpenGL driver and Edited the Unrealtournament.INI file. If you don't mind loosing custom settings for a fresh start, just delete the .ini file also. The original default Unrealtournament.INI file will be automatically created.

After a complete re-install of the software, I still got the error after copying these non-default and edited files over the originals:

OpenGLDrv.dll
OpenGLDrv.ini
opengldrv.int
Unrealtournament.ini

Maybe a different openGL driver or using the original would solve it, I did not care for the original OpenGL's performance, and went ahead with tewaking.

If deleting the unrealtournament.log file is the cure, then why is the file 0 bytes??

I might be missing something wtih that, i don't know the log's purpose.

I wish i can find more info on this, because i like the openGL support.

I still play unreal tournament. Fairly new to me despite its age. JollyRoger666 seemed to have the same problem I did.

You're responding to the thread as well, so I guess you're later than me. 4 years and 23 Hours too late, OMG IT'S ALIVE.
