Call me old fashioned, but I believe music should actually be musical, not endless strings of obsenities--most of which don't even rhyme--sung to the same three-note drum beat for five minutes straight. If and when Mr. Eminem does, in fact, die--most likely from either a shooting or a drug overdose, considering the lifestyle--you can be asured that I won't be shedding any tears. You know the old saying: He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword. If all you sing about (or "rhap" about, in this case) is violence and drug abuse, eventually those things will come back to bite you in the ass.

My opinion of the guy is that he's the rapping equivalent of Britney Spears or the Back Street Boys. Just another creation of a record company.

I imagine TuPac is spinning in his grave at the notion that the two would be compared. Regardless what one feels about the artistic validity of rap and hip hop, TuPac was at least an artist not just another wannabee. (keep in mind I still think TuPac was a thug who as Keiichi said; lived and died by the sword)
