Define Paths crash

Just pathnoded my entire level. So, I save and compile for (hopefully) the last time.
Gets past all the geometry, BSP, portals, and lighting, all the way to defining paths.
Gets to 'Cleaning Up' and just stops.
I dont know if its doing anything or not, but I dont think it is because I've let it run for an hour on that particular part.
I'm sick of freakin Abyss now, I want it DONE someone PLZ PLZ tell me how to get past this load of BS!

97 pathnodes in the lvl - lots more navigation points though (inventoryspots & playerstarts)

Would reverting to UEd 1 help? I have everything freshly rebuilt - just no full paths.


btw your web site idea is great - we need a site devoted to the creativity of making levels rather than the technical workings of them.

UnrealEd 1 still can't do it. Still freezes at the 'pruning extra paths' or whatever in the log.
Same damn thing. Should I be afraid that there are ~1500 points but actually much less pathnodes & inventory points?

Ran it 7 hrs straight, still stops at 'prune reachspecs.'
there are about 1700 reachspecs in my map, I dont know if that's supposed to be like that though, cuz theres only 100 or so pathnodes and 100 or so inventory and spawn points...
