I ask for those of you who care to give a moment of silence to pay respects to Douglas Adams. The renowned author of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy", Mr Adams passed away on the 11th of May 2001. A cult favourite during the 1980, The Hitchiker's Trilogy continues to fascinate and entertain readers of all generations
As another Douglas fan so aptly frames it, I hope that you "may go to a place without Vogon poetry, where the Pan- Galactic Gargle Blasters flow freely and every angel is a triple-breasted denizen of Eroticon 6."
Goodbye Mr Adams, you will be sorely missed.
