Dammit Deathren, you don't suck your thumb you little child!

Parents breaking up is a part of life these days. I can honestly say I do not know anyone in real life who have parents who are still together. Don't worry dooder, its alright, its hard at first but its for the best.

I've always been the weird one.

When I was 4 my parents divorced. At the time I was one of the ONLY kids my age who had divorced parents. A few years later they reconciled, got back together and remarried, by that time I was one of the only kids my age who's parents had NOT divorced :hmm:

If your old enough to understand what a divorce is and why, then it will not effect you as much as if your to young to understand. It does suck man but don't worry about it, there is allot of things that come with and have to do with it, it has nothing to do with you, just be thankful you have parents around period.

my sad story

ok. my mom and dad got divorced when i was 3. my mom married somebody else named Jason. To me he is my dad. i have a sister by him. Now see my dad had hit my mom and she wouldn't let it get into a big abusement park. so she dicorced. but my dad (the real one) had Lupus. a really nasty disease. so i only saw my real dad like 4 times before he died. He tried to meet me and learn more about me toward the end. In total i only got 4 presents from him. not counting what he left me (his jersy, his workpanse, galsses and 2 games are what he left me) . he died in august.

My parent were married for 31 years...till my dad died last year. I've been married almost 10 years, and we are still going strong.

This is not meant as a horn toot...its meant as a ray of hope, that people CAN make it work if they are willing to sacrifice and work together....Marriage is simply the best part of my life, right up there with having children. Try it...you'll like it. :)

I will though about marriage when I will have a strong financial stability. For now my engagement is enough to show my attachment to the girl I love.

But unluckily being married and having children is not only about feeling and sentiment in our society.

When me and my wife got married we had 150 bucks between us and that was it!! As for a society that does not love having, raising, and teaching children, that makes me sad. My life has little meaning without my wife and children...Or at the very least, the meaning it did have, is completely crushed by my 9 year paradigm.

Yeah I understand you feeling. You are now the richest man on earth with your familiy. I have already this feeling. I think as soon I will have a son (If i have a daughter i will by a dog :D joking of course) I will see this sentiment increased

Note: I applause, you find a way to put the word paradigm in your post :D

I was a tad rattled after I first posted that (5 minutes after Dad told me and my brothers about the divorce).

I know it's for the best. Mom stopped loving Dad years ago. They've been married for 20 years.

Mom's moving out, and taking my little brother with her. I'm staying with Dad, and my big brother's going to float back and forth.

Hopefully now that Dad's stuck with me he can finally start loving me.

He once told me he hates me. That's stuck with me for years.

I'm 16, by the way.

God, I know how you feel... happened to me too. My dad remarried and my step-mother is a b*tch beyond belief. I live with my mom and visit my dad, now that Darcy (step-mom) controls him it seems. She told me she hates me, actually she says it a lot. If your parents haven't gotten along for awhile, usually when they divorce, things get much better.

Just to blow off some steam so I don't go to my dad's one day and set my stepmother on fire or anything...

I swear to god I am going to go insane... Darcy and her ****ing stupid ****ing kids. She goes out and buys them **** all the ****ing time and COMPLETELY ****ing ignores me unless my dad reminds her... and no I'm not ****ing exxagerrating here. I hate her ****ing guts and I know she ****ing hates mine! Her ****ing kids make more than I do, and I have a ****ing job, all they have is there ****ing $60, yes I said SIXTY ****ING DOLLARS, a week allowance... my sister still lives with my dad, and probably will until she hits 16. She tells me all my damn stepmom ever ****ing does is sit on the ****ing couch and read sick ****ing romance novels... she ****ing drinks cheap wine at every chance and is hooked on pain killers. When ever we have yard work to do and my dad asks her to help with any ****ing thing at all she ****ing sits there and complains of ba k problems... **** that bull ****... she is the laziest ****ing piece of **** I have ever seen! She makes me clean up after her ****ing kids and all... god I am so damn sick of that ****ing house... sure I will visit, I can stand her for at least 5 ****ing minutes, which is more than when I first met her. Oh god, and her stupid cats. When she married my dad she brought with her these two really stupid cats... they are both persians and she has never once brushed them. They look like ****ing balls of dreadlocks... they ****ing puke on everything because of thier ****ing problems with taking a **** and they eat anything that gets near them! I wish she would have both of those ****ing smelly things put to sleep! They walk around the ****ing house dropping ****ing **** and fur all over... all the time! And I am allergic to ****ing cats... I can barely ****ing breathe with my inhaler and my ****ing meds!! **** her. When my dad told me it was either the ****ing cats who went, or me... my ****ing stepmother chuckled and said she'd rather keep the ****ing cats! So thats when I left. Other ****ing stupid things she ****ing does? She clamors on and on about how ****ing bored she is so my dad gives here ****ing money to go out and buy stupid damn dollhouses to build... which she gives to her bitch of a daughter! **** her. I swear to god... what the **** is wrong with that family?! They are like the ****ing white trash of suburbia! My stepmother leaves ****ing food in her ****ing car until it smells the whole place up! God she annoys me... her stupid comments on her hour glass figure! Bull ****! Hourglass? Sure, fat head, thin neck, fat ****ing stomach.... theres your ****ing hour glass!! One time she drove over to pick me up at school after a Freshman dance... she showed up in a ****ing bathrobe BAREFOOT! What the **** is wrong with her?! DID SHE EAT ****ING PAINT CHIPS AS A CHILD?! When I moved out she gave my old room to my ****ing step-sister even though I asked that my sister get it... god damn her. Her ****ing kids both have so many ****ing toys they have ****ing boxes of them out in our ****ing garage while my ****ing 76 VW beetle rusts int he ****ing driveway! Now I have no ****ing car because I can't restore that!! Its all gone to ****ing hell!! THAT WAS MY ****ING DREAM! I WANTED THAT CAR! Damn it. Now my new ****ing room is the ****ing communal ****ing trash dump for the ****ing family! Whenever the ****ing step-losers are going to throw something ****ing away, they open my ****ing door and chuck it in when I am not there!! What is their ****ing problem!? They have ruined my ****ing life! When we got a new computer, darcy kept ****ing deleting all my ****ing games to make ****ing room for her goddamn ****ing antique pictures with her digital camera! I HATE HER! **** her and her stupid ****ing kids and her whole ****ing family!

ok ok... im done... no more anger... wow. I do feel better. Years of frustration are gone at last.. i really do feel better...

Its sad that so many people can't live together. It really hurts the kids a lot more than the parents since kids get caught in the middle. My mom and dad's 22nd aniversary was last saturday, but they almost got divorced back when I was 9, I'm 18 now, and i remember thinking that I didn't want to live with only one of them because they kept each other in check. Thankfully after a couple of weeks they calmed down and got back together.

Just hang in there Envy things will get better.

This has to be the first up beat breaking up song I've ever heard:

My parents are divorcing as I type. Very bitter too, my mother wants nothing to do with my father, and neither does my brother. I'm about my dad's only friend in all of this, and it's been a source of major tension between me and my mother on occasion.

I love both my parents and I refuse to get mixed up in all the sh*t they're going through. I guess it makes it easier living on my own, but I feel sorry for all of you that don't have that option. :(
