Connection sharing + playing

  • Two Factor Authentication is now available on BeyondUnreal Forums. To configure it, visit your Profile and look for the "Two Step Verification" option on the left side. We can send codes via email (may be slower) or you can set up any TOTP Authenticator app on your phone (Authy, Google Authenticator, etc) to deliver codes. It is highly recommended that you configure this to keep your account safe.

Unreal Tournament requires Ip address like this
194.*...
or
196.*...
and the windows internet connection sharing requires :
192.*...
is there a way to play without changing my address that works with internet sharing ?

I don't understand what you mean by the IP adresses, but I use Microsoft Connection Sharing that comes with Win98b, and it works fine. As long as you set all the IP adress stuff in the TCP/IP protocol in the properties for your network card to obtain an IP adress automatically it should work ok. I think, because it works for me.

Just ask me if you need any more help and I should be able to tell you exactly what mine is like.
