Is there a way to make a game pad use mouse look?
And What benifits will a sound card give me if I were to install one? Any input would be appreciated.

Are there any people out there who are new to the game and would like to kill each other rather than just get slaughtered?

Plus can anyone give me a good recommandation for a good violent bloody game that has lots of killing besides UT. Thanx

Sound card- If you don't have one at all, or you have an integrated card, you'll be amazed at the leap in sound quality you'll experience. Of course, you'll need reasonably good speakers to get the most of it. Many games, including Unreal/UT use 3d sound as well. It's a cheap, but worthwhile upgrade.

SoundBlaster Live is the most commonly used. There are many versions of it, the main difference being the software bundled with them.

Other games- Quake (any of the series, ]|[ being the goriest), HalfLife

You may also see an increase in your fps if you get a good soundcard.

If you get the SBLive *you should*, there's a patch on creative's website that let's you download EAX enhanced sounds on the standard dm maps, and it's well worth it.

What will it do? I've got the SBLive Platinum with digital surround speakers. It sounds like people approaching from behind me when they're approaching from behind. It's great and helps one get right into the experience.

Game pad? Not sure

Fragging each other? Go to the chat tab on your multiplayer. in the server portion, enter irc.enterthegame.com In the channel server, type #planetunreal. That's where you'll find a number of us hanging out at any given time. You'll always find someone there who'll go into a game with you, show you stuff etc.

All you guys who said Quake? He said a "GOOD" game ;)
