Can anybody tell me what the abbreviation ASMD means? I bet it doesn't mean Atmospheric Sciences Modeling Division

Well, I guess that ASMD is one of those strange abbreviations that the World Union created whos meaning has been lost over time. The World Union is what replaces the United Nations in the world 2015. It was created from a conglomerate union of forces by many eastern european nations, the United States of America, and the policing forces of Canada. I know, it sounds strange, but it is true. Candadian mounties are found to be the most influental and diplomatic assembly of peacekeepers in the future.

I figured it out, ASMD stands for Anti-riot Stun Mounty Device.

I told you those damned mounties had something to do with it, but you didn't believe me did you? This device is what enabled them to take such a position of power over the world.

So, in other words, nobody knows. It's funny, I always assumed it was from Unreal1. I just figured it used to be called the A** S*** M*** D*** whatever, and when UT came out they added "Shock Rifle" and converted the rest to an abbreviation.
