|C| under the bright light....

I just wanted to say a few things about |C| and it's relationship with PuF.

|C| is not made up entirely of PuFers. Those that are not in PuF don't really care for it or see the point. That is their decision and I respect that. I have no issue with that.

PuF has done to |C|, what PuF has done to itself. It has caused an undue amount of scrutiny to be put upon the subject. Many things that people (in PuF) complain about would most likely be things that better than half of PuF would actually do. (read: PuF complains about things that happen, yet half of you actually do stuff that other PuF'ers would complain about if it was any other person)

Everyone is human. Everyone has a bad day. But I feel that PuF seems to be intently watching |C| to see what they do or how they act.

Just because |C| made some great achievements over the last 6 months and have some highly popular PuF members in the clan - doesn't mean we're the clan to be looked up to and emulated as the epitome of sportsmanship.

Yes, we'd like to be - but in a world of bad servers, packet loss, fiesty players, "kewl 1337 d00ds", people's tempers flare on occasion.

So - if you honestly have an issue with a |C| member, please let US know (via our forums is best). If you have a problem with The Roost - or someone admining it - please e-mail me personally (rooster@planetunreal.com).

I'm not asking everyone to turn a blind eye to the actions of |C|. Just understand that we're not perfect and neither is PuF. We're all people trying to play a game in an environment that is not exactly a level playing field.

It's been building over the last few weeks (and |C| has been going through some serious changes lately and stress has been a tad more present than usual).

We have private forums and due to some feelings that were shared there, that something should be said.

It wasn't JUST you. And I meant what I said in the post following yours on that thread. This thread is not a retractment of that by any means.

And re: Santi Clawz, yall are just mean.

No we don't try to win by any means possible, but we do try to have fun by any means possible.



The occasional bit of cheese is fun every now and then, as long as it's not at the expense of others.

Typekilling: typically a no-no... but.. if the person you just DIDN'T kill stops chatting just after you turn around and kills you, you know better next time.

Myself - feel free to typekill me. But know that I appreciate and will reciprocate the show of generosity that you gave me. If you don't type kill me.. you buy yourself a few moments where I'll go get a weapon (I normally don't talk when fully armored and armed).

As well, I try to feign death when talking.

Otherwise, portal camping I would do if a flag carrier ALWAYS takes the same route (on Face). It's a legit tactic, just not an efficient one.

Spawn sniping - this will get you booted from The Roost.

Being a statue - just sitting in game doing nothing - will get you booted from The Roost.

Being abusive to other players - will get you booted from The Roost.

Using a skin cheat or any other cheat - will get you banned from The Roost.

Other than that, we're cool.
